I've been working for Intel as a linguist for a few years, helping with the development of a conversational interface. My tasks there include collecting and processing speech data, and developing language models for dialogue software.

For my PhD thesis, I developed a model of Pattern Recognition for Intonation (PRInt). My research focuses on prosody and intonation and I have a background in phonology, phonetics, laboratory phonology and phonetics, linguistic categorization, some aspects of computational linguistics, set and fuzzy set theories, and fuzzy logic.
