Nicholas Bacuez

The main topics of my research in linguistics are prosody and intonation. My work includes phonology and phonetics, laboratory phonology and phonetics, linguistic categorization, some aspects of computational linguistics, set and fuzzy set theories, fuzzy logic.

I received my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of French and Italian. For my PhD thesis, I developed a model of Pattern Recognition for Intonation (PRInt). I am currently working for Intel Inc. in software development as a research scientist/linguist.
